Kenneth brings an extensive background as a scientist and social scientist to executive coaching. His has more than 25 years of experience in corporate leadership, nonprofit management, and academia addressing organizational and leadership challenges. Kenneth believes that to fully realize any significant organizational change or shift, there must be an intentional focus on developing leaders to align with the organization’s strategy. Utilizing a process of self-discovery, awareness, and deep questioning, he works with individual leaders or leadership teams in a coaching relationship focused on improving performance, deepening their learning, changing behaviors, and enhancing their interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND
Kenneth coaches his clients on how to build leadership capacity in all organizational settings. Prior to coaching, Kenneth worked with PG&E Corporation in a variety of leadership and internal consulting roles, including: process improvement, change management, employee engagement, measurement and evaluation, research and development, and engineering and science. His work with nonprofits ranges from chairing several boards to advising and coaching executive directors and boards on nonprofit governance. As adjunct professor, he has taught and lectured on business and leadership at several universities. Kenneth’s strength in building leadership capacity within organizations comes from his ability to call upon elements of leadership from his varied background and experience and his deep understanding of how to support leaders change behaviors that can derail their performance.
As an executive coach, Kenneth coaches senior leaders on behavior changes to enhance their leadership and interpersonal skills. These one-on-one coaching relationships focus on helping leaders become more self-aware of their leadership style while equipping them with tools to manage conflict and increase performance.
Kenneth has coached effectively manage conflict in one-on-one relationships, in teams, and across departments.
He is committed to enabling leaders to embrace complex and often complicated business environments with clarity, confidence, and commitment to successful transition through personal and organizational changes.
